Holiday Help:Hostess Gifts

What do you get a hostess with the mostest? If you're going to lots of gatherings like me this holiday season, you may get tired of just bringing a bottle of wine for the host. Well, here are some other ideas all for under $20:

A great box of chocolates. We have a great local candy company here called Malleys. I use them in a pinch throughout the year. Their candy is wonderful and they have great gift ideas. I'm sure every city has it's own great candy company that you could use. Here are my favorites:a 1 lb. box of their Bordeaux chocolates is $16.95. A box of chocolate covered pretzels is $14.50.

Or how about these selections from World Market: For the baker, specialty vanilla extracts from around the globe, pack of 4, $14.99. Or for the beer or coffee drinker, specialty coffee or beer/drink mix, prices vary.

How about something FUNNY like the selection from Kitsch City. I love this store! How about "wash away your sins soap" for $8.99, or "sparkling mullet body wash/car wash for $11.99, or "miso pretty" bath sake, all from BlueQ. Or the "crazy cat lady action hero" from Accoutrements for $9.99.

You can always give something special, made from the heart, like homemade cookies, candy or crafts, like Andrea from My Chihuahua Bites, who impresses the heck out of me with her ideas!
